The final field and barrier draw for the Group 3 Sandown Stakes has been released today.
The 2011 Sandown Stakes, which is this year named The Alannah & Madeline Foundation Stakes, is due to run at Sandown Racecourse this Saturday November 12, 2011.
11 horses have accepted for a start in the $125,000 race, including Peter White’s Jungle Ruler.
Jungle Ruler won his last start in the Peninsula Cup at Mornington on October 30, 2011.
The eight-year-old gelding has won 19 of his total 100 career starts and has accrued more than $800,000 in prize money.
Jungle Ruler has drawn barrier eight for the 2011 Sandown Stakes and will be ridden by jockey Dean Yendall.
